QR scenarios
QR code scenarios by real-world use case
Use this library to match the scan moment, mobile destination, and printed surface to the job your QR code actually needs to do.
Start with the job, not the format. A business card, menu, shelf tag, and support sticker may all open a URL, but they do not need the same destination or the same print rules.
Each scenario page in this hub is built around a distinct scan context: what someone expects to happen, what should appear first on mobile, and which QR type best supports that outcome.
Use the family sections below to compare closely related scenarios before you print, publish, or repeat a weak idea across several overlapping pages.

Use caseQR Code for Social Links: A Multi-Platform Discovery Hub
Use a social links QR code when one profile is not enough and the person scanning should be able to choose between several social or brand destinations.
How to use the hub
Compare the closest pages before you choose a type
This section works best when you use it comparatively. A business card is not the same job as a LinkedIn profile, a restaurant menu is not the same job as a restaurant table tent, and a support page is not the same job as a Google review.
Open the closest related pages first when the intent feels adjacent. The right page should make the recommended destination and post-scan mobile experience feel obviously different.
Cluster logic
Move from scenario choice into the generator and guides
Use the scenario page to choose the destination model first. Then move to the matching generator page such as URL QR codes, vCard QR codes, Wi-Fi QR codes, or PDF QR codes to build it.
When the remaining question is about print size, placement, testing, or choosing between two QR types, follow the linked guides instead of forcing every scenario page to repeat the same general advice.
Why this structure exists
The hub is organized by micro-intent, not broad nouns
The goal here is to prevent cannibalization as much as to improve convenience. Pages are separated when the scan promise, recommended QR type, or physical environment changes in a meaningful way.
If two pages could not support clearly distinct guidance, they were better handled as one page, one comparison, or one related link instead of becoming thin doorway content.
